What's a library PIN?

A library PIN will permit you to use enhanced features of Einstein (RIT's web-based catalog) and Connect NY (the unified catalog of five academic libraries in New York State).

A PIN enables you to:

Setting up a PIN

Go to the logon page on the library's catalog.

Fill in your last name, your University ID number, and a library PIN.

If this is the first time you have tried to access your account, or if you have requested library staff reset your PIN, anything you enter into the PIN field will become your new library PIN.

I forgot my PIN

If you forget your PIN, library staff can delete your existing one. But you must contact the Wallace Library Circulation Desk in person. After your PIN has been deleted, you can set a new one.
