After logging into MY RIT Catalog, and chosing Search the Catalog, any search you do can be "saved" as a preferred search.

The next time you log in to MY RIT Catalog, these preferred searches will be available from MY RIT Library.

You can re-execute any preferred search by selecting it.

Once you've saved a search, you can set it up so that the system will notify you if any new titles added to the catalog match that search.

Simply check off the mark for email check box next to the preferred search.

On the first of every month, the system will check to see if any new titles have been added to the catalog that match your perferred searches. In this way you can register your areas of interest and stay up to date on new titles that have been added to the catalog.

To change the email alerts you've set up, please log into http://albert.rit.edu/patroninfo and edit your saved searches.

Feel free to contact the RIT Library with any questions.

Once you have been notified that a new item is in the library catalog, you still have to search the catalog at: http://albert.rit.edu in order to determine it's location, call number, and availability.

Log into MY RIT Library, view your preferred searches, and uncheck the Mark for Email checkbox for any saved search you no longer wish to set up for email alerts.
