New Reverse 911 Service for Mobile Text Users
Here are steps for you to register and it will only take a few minutes:
1. Visit http://www.hyper-reach.com/monroesignup.html
2. Complete the request information in each boxes. It's very important that you select the correct municipality you actually live in, not mailing address. for instance, many of people wh live in Town of Greece have Rochester mailing address. It is very important to register for Greece!! The system will only display streets listed for selected municipality to complete registration.
3. At bottom of the page is a drop down box, where you select if you want to receive message in audio, text or both format.
4. You can only register a mobile telephone for one address. You can not register to receive notification for multiple locations such as both home and workplace. However, if you move you change your information by simply registering again. The system will accept the latest entry.
Registration is only needed for mobile telephones. All traditional phones in Monroe County are already registered in the system!
