SciFinder Scholar is an interface providing
point-and-click access to to scientific information
from Chemical Abstracts Service.
Once you have downloaded the SciFinder Scholar client-server
software you will be able to access and search:
- The Chemical Abstracts file from 1907 to the
present,
- The Registry File - a file of over 33 million
substances,
- CASReact - a database of chemical reactions,
- CHEMLIST - a regulated chemicals ist
- CHEMCAT - a database of chemical catalogs, and,
- Medline

Citation Index Expanded covers 5,900
major journals across more than 150 scientific disciplines.
Indexed so that you can search for specific articles
by subject, author, journal, and/or author address.
You can also search the databases for articles that
cite a known author or work.
