Marbled Paper Desktop Wallpaper
The Cary Collection has a collection of historical marbled papers. These selected images are available for you to use as desktop wallpaper on your computer. To use, first download the image in a size appropriate for your monitor, then see the instructions below.

Instructions for Windows:
On the Start menu, point to Settings. Click Control Panel. Double-click the Display icon. The Display Properties dialog box appears, with the Background tab showing. Click Browse and browse to the image. To adjust how your wallpaper is displayed on your monitor, in the Display box select Center, Tile, or Stretch. Click OK.

Instructions for Macintosh OS 8-9:
Open the Appearance control panel and select the Desktop tab. Click the Place Picture button. (If you already have a desktop picture selected, click the Remove Picture button first.) Select Position Automatically from the pop-up menu. Click the Set Desktop button.

Instructions for Macintosh OS X:
Open System Preferences and click on Desktop. Select Choose Folder from the pop-up menu. Browse to the folder containing the image and click OK. The images in the selected folder will appear below. Click on the image you wish to select.
