Cary Hosts the APHA Lieberman Lecture

The Cary Collection will host the American Printing History Association's annual Lieberman Lecture on November 17, 2014 at 5 p.m. APHA founding member, Professor Herbert H. Johnson, will deliver his talk "History of a Type Design, the Centaur by Bruce Rogers; With a Footnote on its Erstwhile Companion, Arrighi, by Frederic Warde." Original artifacts pertaining to these famous typefaces will be on view at the Cary.

The Lieberman Lecture is traditionally held in the city which will host the next annual APHA conference. RIT Cary Collection is sponsoring such an event October 23-24, 2015, with the conference theme of "Printing on the Handpress and Beyond."
