“’Funny’ Spring Weekend Newspapers from Gamma Epsilon Tau” – Calypso Courier

Title
“’Funny’ Spring Weekend Newspapers from Gamma Epsilon Tau” – Calypso Courier
Description
This newspaper from Gamma Epsilon Tau - RIT’s national co-ed, printing and graphic arts honors fraternity chapter - depict the college sweethearts Mary Anne Cross and her future husband Joseph H. Ehasz. The biggest example of Mary Anne’s and Joe’s love is in the next issue in the collection – The Calypso Courier - printed from May 3, 4, 5 of 1957. There, it states at the top that they have eloped and the printing fraternity will celebrate for the next three days in commemoration of the occasion. Even though these are the “Funny” versions of the Gamma Epsilon Tau newspaper, they still document the love they found at RIT.
