Unable to connect to a database? Getting an Error Message?

This form will be sent to: Teresa Kellett at RIT Wallace Library. In addition, Teresa can be reached by telephone Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm (EST) at 585.475.2597.

Each request for help will be acted on as quickly as possible and the sender will receive a personal response back on the status/solution.


If your question is not about a difficulty you're experiencing in using the library's systems but rather a question about searching library databases and interpreting your results you may want to use the "Ask - Electronic Reference Service" form or "ONE2ONE Live Reference Service" or call the Reference Desk at 585.475.2563

BEFORE USING YOUR RIT ACCOUNT FOR THE FIRST TIME YOU MUST LOG ON AND change your RIT account password.

An RIT computer account is needed to access library databases remotely--this is NOT the same as your FirstClass account. Your RIT account is e-mailed to your FirstClass account the week before the first day of classes. If you are unsure about your RIT account contact either Online Learning at 1.800.CALL.RIT (225-5748).
