Why use this database?

The FIAF International FilmArchive Database brings together contributions from experts around the world dedicated to film preservation, cataloguing and documentation. It contains a wide range of databases:

  • International Index to Film/TV Periodicals is the main database containing almost 300,000 article references from more than 300 academic and popular film journals.

  • Treasures from the Film Archives contains unique information about the silent film holdings of film archives from around the world.

  • International Directory of Film/TV Documentation Collections covers the documentation collections of the world's foremost film archives, libraries, and educational institutions.

  • Bibliography of FIAF Members Publications provides citations to books, pamphlets, programmes, and other materials published since 1966 by FIAF archives.
