Why use this database?

  • The ReferenceUSA database contains basic information on more than 12 million U.S. businesses.

  • Search for information by: Company Name, Executive Name, Ticker Symbol, SIC, Major Industry, Geographical info (such as Address, ZIP Code, MSA), Phone, Number of Employees, Sales Volume, Headquarters/Branch, Public Companies/Stock Exchange and more.

  • Information is compiled (and verified at least twice a year) from telephone directories; annual reports, 10-Ks and other SEC information; government data; Chamber of Commerce information; leading business magazines, trade publications, newsletters, major newspapers, industry and specialty directories as well as postal service information.
