PRACTICAL INFORMATION SESSIONS
RIT Libraries created the Practical Information Sessions as a way to share real-life information with students to help better prepare them for life at college and for life in the working world after college. These sessions offer a variety of information from experts in each field. Past examples of the sessions include “Buying or Leasing a Car”, “Investing 101”, “The Ins and Outs of Financial Aid” and “How to Start a Small Business”. Below, you will find listings of our upcoming events as well as links to some of our past events. If you have an idea of some practical information you would like us to present, or you are an expert in a field you feel would benefit our students to learn more about be sure to contact us!
