Nancy Rourke works of art consists of one original oil painting, and 3 poster size reproductions of other original pieces. These works of art were created in 2009 and 2010 by Nancy Rourke, a Deaf artist who attended the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

bioinfoNancy Rourke(Collapse)

Nancy Rourke studied graphic design and painting at the National Technical Institute of the Deaf (NTID) and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, NY and earned a master's degree in computer graphic design and painting. She has worked as a graphic designer for such companies as Xerox, 20th Century Fox, and Microsoft Corporation.

She began drawing and painting when she was a child as a way of communicating with her parents. Her ultimate goal, aside from expressing herself, is to show appreciation for the Deaf community and to convey her Deafhood journey and experiences.
