This must-attend program will take place in Wallace Library's Idea Factory on Thursday, January 13th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and will be open to everyone in the RIT community. Aware of the rapidly growing interest in on-demand publishing, this event will feature a series of talks and demonstrations directed at anyone interested in publishing his or her own work. There will be opportunities to learn about a variety of on-demand formats, ranging from beautifully produced artists' books to high-end academic publications.
The program will conclude with a keynote talk by Bob Young, founder and CEO of Lulu.com, one of the most successful and innovative Internet sites for on-demand publishing. His presentation, entitled "The Internet Changes Everything", will be immediately followed by a reception.
