to many students at RIT I couldn't be prouder of my unofficial title! I came to RIT from Puerto Rico. It was a great change and also an exciting challenge for me. As a freshman in the work/study program, one of the first things I had to do was find an on-campus job. A friend suggested the Library, and I was hired. I didn't know what to expect - but right away I found the Library to be a dynamic, diverse place where I've felt at home ever since.
As a Student Supervisor at Wallace I helped so many students each day that most didn't know my name, but recognized me as the 'Library Girl.' I feel fortunate that I worked in a place that has positively influenced my personal, academic, and professional development. I used the Library's vast resources to complete my BS in biotechnology, and to earn an MBA. I am confident that the interpersonal and problem-solving skills I learned on the job will positively influence my professional career.
The Wallace Library with its great team is my home away from home. I am grateful to all of the alumni who support the Library. You have provided many students like me with important work as well as a world of information. Thank you for making this happen.
