Wallace Library
My role is to assist you in searching, accessing and citing the right information using both standard and innovative methods. I work with the Dean, faculty, staff and students at College of Science.
I provide Faculty Support via: (1) book ordering for courses and course reserves, (2) classroom library instruction, (3) information research for faculty (4) individual office visits (5) contact with COS departments' library committee reps. I am just a phone call or email away.
I am responsible for and I am still in the process of updating the core collection of the Sciences/Math related journals and books to reflect faculty scholarship, teaching and collaborative research activities at RIT. This is an annual ongoing process working collaboratively with the College of Science departments.
If we have not met yet, always feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

I hope you had a pleasant summer.
Did you know that you can email pages to yourself from a library copier at no charge!!? Instructions for emailing yourself copied pages are posted near the copiers. The library staff will be available to assist you.
To find out more about the Wallace Library , visit the library's webpage which provides a Library Services guide as well as tutorials.
Database Updates:
Scifinder is now web based and only available at the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) website via the library's databases webpage. New users will have to create their own Scifinder username and password before accessing the web based database. The pc/mac version of the Scifinder database is no longer supported by CAS, therefore if you have been having technical issues switch to the web version.
Reminders for Graduate Students and Faculty:
- Rochester Regional Library Council (RRLC ) access card is available for graduate students and faculty only. This card allows you to use materials at other area libraries. RRLC provides a limited number of access cards. You will need to contact me directly to obtain a RRLC access card.
- The Scholarly Publishing Studio offers copy editors to edit your abstracts, articles, presentations, and grant proposals at a reasonable cost with a minimum turnaround time of two business days .
Bookmark this quarterly web newsletter, which will provide you updates on how to use the library resources to make your work easier, including library events and workshops e.g. Endnote, Chemistry databases.
I look forward to providing assistance to you in your classrooms and laboratories.
