Greetings from the RIT Libraries! We can't wait to meet you! You can start exploring our resources and services before you even arrive. Once you receive your RIT username and password you can access our electronic resources from anywhere in the world!

If you arrive to campus early we invite you to attend one of our pre-orientation sessions to learn more about library resources:
 
General library/plagiarism—Wednesday, August 5th at 2pm
Join us for an overview of the services we offer and a tour of our digital collections. Get your questions answered and get a jump start on your research. We'll also discuss plagiarism and how to avoid it. The more you know, the safer you'll be!
 
Database 101—Tuesday August 11th at 10am
Learn how information is organized and accessed from library databases. We'll discuss the different kinds of databases and how to structure your work so that you can be more efficient in your research.
 
Database 201—Thursday August 13th at 10am
Maximize your research potential with this advanced session on databases. We'll look at how to find a subject specific database and how to use it to the full potential. Save time by learning tips to be organized and more efficient in your search strategies.
 
All sessions will take place in the second floor computer lab of The Wallace Center. We hope to see you there!
