Sign Language and Deaf Studies LOC Call Numbers Guide

The following call numbers should assist in locating materals related to deafness. Marcia Trauernicht, our Head Cataloger, made suggestions for call numbers and subject headings. Some materials such as deaf art or deaf in science would be put under those subject headings. You need to use keyword searches when you search the Einstein Catalog in order to locate specific deaf biographies or other works not covered by these call number ranges.
