Borrowing RIT Library Material
RIT members and associates may borrow library material by presenting a current RIT ID card at the Circulation Desk at the time of check-out.
By borrowing library material that is shared by the entire RIT community, you are responsible for:
- Returning or renewing items by their due date.
- Promptly notifying the Circulation Desk of any change in your mailing address.
- Providing full payment of fines and fees owed.
A fines balance of $5 or more will suspend your borrowing privileges. The entire balance must be paid to reinstate your account. Fines of over $100 will suspend registration activity and fines over $30 will suspend receipt of diplomas and transcripts.
