Digital Mentoring Network
A mentoring network supports a diverse campus environment while encouraging social and academic integration. It will foster a sense of community and commitment to student success. This network will also create an affinity between diverse demographics that might not otherwise have the opportunity to interact.
The Library will create a virtual mentoring network between students and faculty, alumni, staff, Athenaeum members and River's Run residents.
Some of the elements of the RIT Strategic Plan addressed by this goal include:
Goal B6: RIT students will have easy access to accurate and useful information regarding all aspects of university experience.Goal B9: RIT alumni will play an increasingly prominent role in advancing RIT’s vision for student development and professional success.
Goal E4: RIT will encourage personal and professional growth for all campus community members.
