Using EndNote Web to create bibliographies -- this session will provide a demonstration of and basic instruction for using EndNote Web, an online citation management system provided by the RIT Libraries at the Wallace Center. EndNote Web allows users to create formatted bibliographies in many citation styles, including APA and MLA, and output those bibliographies to word processing programs such as Microsoft Word. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend this workshop.

Attendees may want to familarize themselves with the product slightly before this demonstration. This guide may help with learning the basics of EndNote Web.

Using Zotero, a next generation citation management system -- this session will provide a demonstration of and basic instruction for using Zotero, an online citation management system. Zotero allows users to create formatted bibliographies in many citation styles, including APA and MLA, and output those bibliographies to word processing programs such as Microsoft Word. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend this workshop.

Attendees may want to familiarize themselves with the product slightly before this demonstration. Zotero is available as a free download for use with web browsers or as a standalone program. Attendees may also find these screencast tutorials to be helpful.

Attendees who use laptops are encouraged to bring them to the session, so that they can install the free Zotero software.
