We at RIT Libraries are here to support your academic success!
What can we do for you?
Meet your librarian
Each RIT college has its own librarian who is an expert in the resources within that field. They can help you get started on the research for your paper, project or thesis. Who is your librarian? Check out this page to find out: /research/meet-your-librarian
We have library guides on a variety of subjects to help you navigate our resources on your own: http://infoguides.rit.edu/
If we don't have a book or article that you need we can get it for you for free from another library: http://ill.rit.edu
Find a quiet place to study. Check out our study rooms! They come in a variety of sizes to meet your quiet or group study needs. Reserve them for up to 4 hours a day up to two weeks in advance: /studyroom
Don't have laptop or don't feel like dragging yours around campus? Borrow one of ours! We have Dell laptops and Macbook Pros available for 4-hour loan and you can take them out of the library.
Electronic information accessible from anywhere
Just start your search from the library website and you'll be able to access our electronic resources from both on and off campus with your RIT username and password.
Visit us 24x5 hours a week
Come study here at any hour of the day during the week! We're open from Sunday at 11am until Friday at midnight. Saturday we're open 10am-midnight.
We hope to see a lot of you at RIT Libraries!
