Cary publishes new Highlights book
We are pleased to announce our new book: Highlights of the Cary Graphic Arts Collection at Rochester Institute of Technology. It was published by RIT Press in conjunction with the Cary's 45th anniversary at RIT in 2014. Cary curators, Steven Galbraith, Amelia Hugill-Fontanel, and Kari Horowicz, worked together to select important artifacts that represent some larger archives within the library, but also stand alone as treasures in their own right. The book is illustrated with photographs of our book, typography, printing technology, bookbinding, calligraphy, and graphic design archive collections. Highlights of the Cary... is the first printed catalog that addresses the breath of the library in documenting the history of graphic communications.
