Jeff Peachey 2016 Cary Collection Fellow
This past September, the Cary Collection had the pleasure of hosting Jeff Peachey as our second annual Cary Collection research fellow. Jeff is a bookbinder, teacher, and scholar based in New York City. His research in the Cary Collection was in support of his work-in-progress, Putting it Together, a monograph that will investigate revolutionary changes in bookbinding during the second quarter of the nineteenth century. During his stay, Jeff made thorough use of the Bernard C. Middleton Collection of Books on Bookbinding. He also generously shared his knowledge and experiences with us and our patrons. We wish him all the best with his project.
For those wishing to apply for this year’s annual research fellowship, please see our call for applicants.
