A continuation on the repeal results

Description

A continuation on the Senate decision to keep the graphic mark created by Roger Remington. This article brings into question the purpose of the logo given Remington’s arguments made at the hearing. The primary concern surrounding the logo was the lack of input and influence from the student body, as well as the comparison to industry logos which, as the article highlights, RIT is not an industry. The Senate decided to turn down the repeal after Remington’s speech defending the new logo, and RIT continued to use it until its re-design in 1973.
