4. Project Engineers with Helium Tank

Title
4. Project Engineers with Helium Tank
Subject
In many of the photographs taken on the day of the Operation Hi-Ball launch, it is easy to spot the photo science students responsible for the project. While everyone with clearance to be in the launch area wore a tag with the project's name on it, the photo science students, who referred to themselves as "project engineers" wore hard hats, again with the project name on them, but with various other markings as well, including their name, role within the project, or "Z-2," the name given to the balloons and gondola in honor of Professor Richard Zakia, whose idea started the entire project.
