Which database should I use? Part 2
Here are some tips:
- General databases can be useful at the beginning of the research process because they help you narrow a topic. They are also useful for multi-disciplinary topics and topics that don't fit a specific subject.
- There are descriptions for each of the databases. On the next page you can visit the database portal. Select a subject area. After each database name you will see an icon of a blue dot with an "i" like this:
Click the icon for a description of the database.
- Remember, you can always contact your college librarian for advice when you are uncertain which database to use for your assignment.
