New gallery exhibit: RIT's early 20th century Mechanical program

RIT’s Mechanical  program, as it existed in the early 20th century, is conveyed in a new exhibit in the Gallery for RIT History and Art.  Included are photographs, curriculum materials, course catalogs and two pieces of equipment designed and built by a Cooperative Mechanical student in 1928. View it through April 2014.    The Gallery for RIT History and Art is located on the first floor near the Reference desk.

Celebrate the Life of Author Tom Clancy

Best-selling author Tom Clancy died on Tuesday October 1st (1947-2013). Clancy was the prolific author of military thrillers, some of which spawned movies and video games. He is credited with the creation of a new fiction sub-genre, the techno-thriller.
