Jan Conradi, author and graphic design professor at Rowan University, has published a book with RIT Press entitled Lella and Massimo Vignelli: Two Lives, One Vision. She will be giving a lecture and book signing on Friday, October 24th at 1:00 pm in the University Gallery at the Vignelli Center. Her lecture is part of the Design Conversations series sponsored by the Vignelli Center.

From the Victorian era to the start of the twenty-first century, the Mergenthaler Linotype Company dominated the typesetting and printing industries. This new book details the products, the people, and the corporate activities that kept the company ahead of its competition in hot metal, phototypesetting, and pre-press technology. Meet the author, Professor Emeritus Frank Romano. Books will be available for sale.
